YO SUSHI

Yo Sushi, Chester - I think this is my second favourite place to eat Chester.

It was my first time in this week, but I soon found my Sushi Mo-Jo! It is on lower bridge street, Chester. (It is a national chain so I am sure there would be one near you too)

Basically it works like this: there is a conveyor belt with some dishes moving round which you can pick as they come past. You can also choose from the massive menu. Each plate is one of 6 colours, and each colour has a price. At the end of the meal they count and price your plates. :-)

The conveyor belt coming past with dishes. What I loved about Yo Sushi, Chester is that around 3/4 of the menu is non-fish related! (Which is great as I hate fish..!)

This is one of the " Yo Sushi fill me up" dishes. Some portions are fairly small and are more tasters than meals. They have a range of fill me up dishes that are larger and a good way of keeping the costs down. Think of it as a tapas meal, with lots of different tastes and options.

Each booth or table has its own help button that u can call over for fresh hot food.

There is also the option for un-limited Green tea, triple filtered cold still and sparkling cold water from a tap on the table.

We had a great time. Food and service was excellent - and quick. It would be an ideal place for lunch hours, as well as evening meals. The massive bowl of noodles I showed u were only £2.20!! You could have a very large cheap meal if u choose your colours wisely as plates start at £1.90 :-)

Between the three of us we certainly kept the Yo Sushi chefs busy!

Also had great service - one great example was our server was on his break, but half way through eating his tea (I always think it's great to see staff eating their own food too!) noticed that our plate was waiting as they had a large number of dishes ordered at once. He stopped half way through his meal to bring over our plate whilst it was hot.

We all had a great time. We will be seeing Yo Sushi soon!! :-) would highly recommend, a great social eating place.

Anyone else have experience of Yo Sushi anywhere else?
