Christmas - Ages ago!

Hello all,

It seems like Christmas was ages ago doesnt it? Im still very much enjoying my Christmas gifts though! I got an amazing amazon e-Kindle for Christmas - and its brilliant.

I didnt think it would match a book to be honest - I am a die hard bookie. I love everything about books and I was worried this would be the same - But I love it. The biggest compliment I can give it - Is that I dont notice it a lot of the time! You forget that you are reading a handheld - other than the fact it is really light and much better than holding a massive heavy hardback book! (espesially in bed!) It is so easy to use - I am a complete techno-phobe and I manage to set it all up and download books very easily. I have the built in 3G - and I would highly reccomend this. You have access to internet where ever you go - and can even go on google etc - although its not the quickest way it has to be said!! But I would highly reccomend it to all - Thanks Santa!!

Things have been all go since Christmas - I cant belive how quick the time has gone!! Our new years reselutions was to eat out more and do more fun things! Get the work life balance a bit more even - and had some good and not so good experiences. So it thought I would share them with you - save you making the same mistakes!

We have recently been to a B and B in Beamaris in North Wales. It was amazing. It was a B&B called Clefiog, and was a bargain at £90 per night for a massive room in a 5* hotel. The room had its own fire place, a three seater sofa, a rocking chair, an arm chair, a massive bed and four windows. The service was second to none - the owner Gill should be running the country. She was the most hospitable, polite and friendly person I have ever met - combined with beign the most organised and clean one too!! The area was lovely - perfect for a quiet weekend away. Not so many great restraunts in the area but breakfast in the hotel more than made up for it. We were given freshly squeezed orange juice which was delightfull and the choice for breakfast was huge. Fresh warm coisants, a multitude of cerials and fully cooked breakfasts. Even the teas were lovley and varied - with herbal and fruit teas. The small efforts that she had gone to made all the differnce - fresh cold mil (realy milk not uth!) given in a flask on a regular basis in the room - proper tea with a proer tea pot in the room. Fabulous. I dont think I have even been more relaxed. Thier website is:

Hope you are all ok! Speak to you soon. Sorry for the delay!
